Accompanied by award-winning photographer Will Gray, you’ll spend 8nts/9 days focusing on an incredible line-up of locations, including iconic natural wonders like Diamond Beach, Vestrahorn and Skogafoss. 8nt (9-day) South Iceland Winter Landscapes & Northern Lights Photography Tour
With a group size of just seven (plus tour leader Will Gray and our local driver/guide) this eight-night photography tour explores the stunning natural wonders of South Iceland. Two-night stays in both the Jokulsarlon and Vestrahorn areas maximise your chances of shooting the best compositions at these iconic locations. Accommodation has been carefully chosen for its northern lights potential (far from artificial light pollution).
To help you get the most out of your photography, Will is always on hand to offer one-to-one advice during the tour – whether it’s long exposure techniques for waterfalls and seascapes or aerial photography using your drone. In 30+ years as a journalist and photographer, Will has travelled all over Iceland and has recce’d this trip to compile the ultimate combination of photographic experiences.

Prices exclude flights to and from Iceland.
Flights
You need to arrange your own flights to and from Keflavík International Airport, arriving in the morning of day 1 and departing in the evening of Day 9.

Photography level and gear
This tour is suitable for beginners through to enthusiast photographers. You will get more out of the trip if you already have a good knowledge of your camera's controls and a basic understanding of processing images using Lightroom.
