Cotswolds full-day and half-day photography workshops
Will has lived in the English Cotswolds for over 20 years, photographing its beautiful and surprisingly diverse scenery throughout the seasons. On a full-day or 4-hour workshop, he'll share with you some of his favourite, often little-known, locations for photography, picking the ones that not only suit the time of year, but also offer you the very best opportunities to develop and improve your camera skills – no matter what level of experience you have. Gift vouchers are also available.
Highlights
• Cotswolds workshops might start with a dawn shoot, capturing a misty autumn sunrise over water meadows, or the first rays of light entering a bluebell wood.
• Explore the craft of landscape photography, using dramatic woodland, rolling countryside or iconic Cotswolds landmarks to master composition and viewpoint.
• Photography tuition is given throughout the day, tailored to your camera gear and level of experience.
• Transport is included, along with drinks, snacks and (on full-day workshops) a picnic lunch.

Will Gray explains what makes these workshops special...
We can include a dawn or dusk session, making the most of the best conditions and learning about the changing qualities of light. We'll visit several, contrasting locations, allowing you to practise a range of techniques. If you're a beginner, there will be plenty of time to demystify your camera and become confident with its various settings. I'll provide instant feedback on your images throughout the day, and can also include a Lightroom demonstration if you'd like to look at post-processing techniques.
When you contact me using the form below, I'll ask you what you hope to gain from the workshop, what areas of photography you're keen to focus on, and whether there are any particular subjects you would like to tackle, such as close-ups or landscapes. Using this information, I'll put together a bespoke itinerary for you, including details of where and when we'll meet and what time the workshop will end.
Full-day workshops last around 8 hours. During late autumn and winter, this means we can usually include the whole day from dawn to dusk. However, with the longer days of late spring and summer, you'll need to choose one or the other. The 4-hour workshops can either be held in the morning or late afternoon/evening.
Workshop dates
Daily, year round. Summer is very busy in the Cotswolds, so the best times for photography are October to June. Once you have booked your workshop, we'll arrange a suitable date, which can be flexible if the weather forecast is poor.
Duration
Choose from a full-day workshop (8 hours) or a half-day 4-hour workshop. Once you've booked, I'll be in touch to discuss meeting times and photography locations.

Maximum of three people. This workshop is also ideal for one-to-one tuition, or for couples.

Full-day (8hr) workshop: £250 per person (one-to-one tuition), £300 per couple or £350 for a group of three.
